Hi everyone, I’m going to break down the three parts of this video, which is about two and a half minutes long.

Part #1: Buttons that appear and disappear. This is the HUD layout I had been using for almost one year, and the FPS drops were absurd. Below, I’ve added arrows and circled these buttons that appear and disappear. The reset edit button is circled in a different color. Why? Because it was the only button that, when I tapped it, the FPS didn't drop. The reason they didn't drop? Because there were no other buttons appearing and disappearing.

Part #2: Following the logic of the reset edit button, I tried to reduce these buttons as much as possible by making them visible during combat, building, and editing. And look at the difference in the FPS afterward.

Part #3: I deleted all the buttons that didn't give me the option to make them visible during combat, building, and editing. Obviously, those were buttons that weren't necessary. So, the buttons you will see appearing and disappearing in this part three are necessary buttons that, unfortunately, cannot be made visible during combat, building, and editing—they are specific buttons for each mode.

I know you might wonder why the FPS counter and the net debug stats are circled. The reason? They are always moving and changing without you even touching them. Since they are elements with a mind of their own, being in constant motion causes FPS drops, so I highly recommend removing or disabling them.

So, after this, I went from playing with a poor 30% 3D resolution and absurd FPS drops, to playing with a 55% 3D resolution and incredibly more stable FPS. I also tested it with a 75% resolution and the FPS didn't drop; they stayed rock solid. At least for me, 55% 3D resolution is more than enough.

Just one more thing, I recorded this video two months ago, which is why my HUD layout and my username are different compared to the clip in my last post.

I hope this information helps you improve your FPS stability. Give it a try, guys, you've got nothing to lose. And if it works for you, I’d love for you to comment on how much FPS stability you managed to get. I’ll be reading all of you.
