Atlanta Hawks game tickets and schedule
Ticketmaster is the official ticketing partner of the NBA. Ticketmaster provides the transactional engine that most of the NBA teams utilize. NBATickets.com provides links to Ticketmaster for each team that utilizes Ticketmaster, and to the respective primary ticketing partner for each team not utilizing Ticketmaster.
NBATickets.com is the NBA’s one-stop shop for all ticket types for all NBA teams. Fans can link out to buy single game tickets directly from the team, browse resale options, or view more options on team ticket pages, including promotions and deals.
NBATickets.com is not a transactional site – it is a hub that links to the official team ticketing options for each team. Following out-bound links to NBA team sites insures they are official, safe and secure. Your tickets will be issued directly from the team. When you buy directly from the team, there is no risk of duplicate or fraudulent tickets. “Buy from team” means just that – you’ll be purchasing tickets directly from the team via the team’s ticketing software platform (each team works with its own chosen ticketing partner).
Additionally, other viable outlets for ticket sales are available. Additionally, NBA schedule, specific team schedule, and playoff tickets are provided by third party ticket outlets. Mods please can we get automated pre-game threads this year?

Mods we have never had these and it falls on one of us to do it — normally they get posted but it’s a lot for 1 person to do every game. Can we please get these automated this year?

In his press conference Mo Gueye mentioned that he was "stuck here" and couldn't travel during the summer
submitted by /u/Ice2jc [link] [comments]
It sucks, and he didn't elaborate further, but I'm assuming it's because of stricter travel restrictions that Trump placed on Mo's home country of Senegal in June. They aren't on a travel ban list but they were added to an enhanced scrutiny list and the Senegalese women's basketball team had to cancel their training camp in the US because their players had their visas denied.
He was probably advised that there was a real chance that he couldn't get back into the country and opted to stay so he didn't jeopardize his NBA career. I feel bad for the kid, he was probably the only Hawk player that stayed in Atlanta during the Summer. I hope that he at least made it down to Florida for a beach vacation or some shit.

Training camp observations from clips

Onyeka has been cultivating mass this summer
Nikola’s jumper looks like that old meme of a person shooting with 2k lag in real life
Kristaps just drills the ball at the rim and it goes in from 30+ ft
Luke is incapable of missing a three
Trae is going to have so much fun hitting all the cutters like Zacch, Jalen, NAW and Dyson
Giannis Jr watch continues for Zacch and Mo
Asa might actually be able to shoot (wasn’t completely sold after summer league) and I could see him playing above Mo sometimes if Kristaps is injured and they just want him to bomb some threes similar to when they played Niang. I’m projecting him a more of a stretch big than a finisher near the rim (at least at first)

Prediction on a narrative that will follow the team next year.
submitted by /u/ChadEverhard [link] [comments]
I was thinking about how the team would be discussed if we’re relatively healthy this year and do what we’re supposed to. I have a strong feeling that we’re going to be in for a whole lot of false narratives particularly surrounding Trae and his play style. They already tried doing it last year when Dre came back and the team finally looked like it was turning the corner. Get ready to hear about how despite Trae coming off of a season where his usg% was the lowest since his rookie year how much he’s finally matured, is showing effort on defense, bought into the system, is leaning more into being a passer and letting his teammates flourish.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying this is a super big deal or that it even really matters in the grand scheme. This would be infinitely better than having another disappointing season and listening to opposing fans/media members who know nothing about the hawks act as if they’re experts on why the team isn’t performing. Both are annoying to hear but at least 1 is supposed to be praise lol. Just something to keep an eye on during the year because I can already see people running with it. People will try spin anything if it means they never have to admit they were wrong.

Ticket/Seating Question for 10/25 game vs OKC
submitted by /u/AthenaTheDog [link] [comments]
The game is on a Saturday night which will mean the tickets are likely more scarce, right? Does it make sense to go ahead and buy tickets now or will there likely be a plethora of available tickets 2 hours before the game?
Does the front row of the top sections (section 224 for example) have a protective barrier hat partially blocks your view?
Is it worth paying double for a high up lower level seat vs a front row upper level seat?
Thanks in advance.

A fan from South-Eastern Europe
submitted by /u/mostly_uncoordinated [link] [comments]
I have no idea how many Hawks fans, if any, there are in South-Eastern Europe, but I am one of them. And I have been since the 90s when I was just a child. I am in my 30s now, and I still irrationally hate Michael Jordan from those days. My favorite players are Nique, Mutombo, and Dražen Petrović (I know, I know).
Why am I writing this? I've been following the Hawks for decades now, and I've seen a lot of ups and downs. My favorite era was the Horford-Korver-Millsap-Teague – they played basketball the way I believe it should be played. However, I've never been to Atlanta, and I've only been to the USA once in my life, on the other side of the country.
I've decided to change that. I like what Onsi has done with the team this year, and with the NBA being more open than ever, I think we can make a surprise in the playoffs this year.
My private and financial life has finally shaped in a way that I can afford to visit Atlanta for my vacation and see Hawks game in person. I will be coming early November.
If anyone wants to meet up for a beer or something, I'd love to meet some authentic Hawks fans. I have been lurking this sub for many years (I almost never post on Reddit) so I feel like I already know some of you lol.
Also, I haven't bought game tickets yet, as I see that it's cheapest to get them just before the game. Since I'm coming from a country that's much poorer economically than the USA, I'm planning to save some money that way. Do you think it's too big a risk to wait? Do games get sold out? It would be quite disappointing if I came all this way and then couldn't get into the arena.
tldr; After 30 years of following the Hawks on TV and online, I am finally realizing my life-long dream of seeing them play live.
